WOW!!!!!
I went to see the movie Transformers yesterday evening - I WAS TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! This movie is definitely one of the tops for 2007 and without a doubt now on my top movies list. Like EVER!
The problem with many of these type of movies is that you get some special effects, then story line, then some more special effects or action, and then some more story line.
Transformers was PACKED - every singe moment - with gripping action and special effects interwoven into the storyline.
This sort of movie can go so very wrong, very easily… but it seems that the director Michael Bay really pulled out all the stops to make sure that all those things that could have gone horribly wrong went AMAZINGLY right!
I remember watching Transformers as a kid -I never missed an episode and went out of my way to get new ones. I also owned many of the actual toys themselves (I think that if I look hard I should be able to find many of them 
lol!). So for me Transformers is a sacred childhood treasure.
I was so elated when I watched the movie - I felt like I did when I was a kid watching the Transformer cartoons all over again. I really felt that the entire experience was totally believable and transcended time/space barriers, carrying me back to those supercool days of wonder.
The inclusion of John Turturro as a nutter secret agent from a super secret section seven service that investigates aliens was a GEM!!! I love that guy!
So to show my HUGE appreciation for all things that transform (except perhaps gender transformation - ai. :!)here is a video of REAL TRANSFORMERS!!!! Whatta woild, I tells ya!
