Cotton Clothing is good Karma

babbleinteresting

So you’ve heard that cotton clothing has many wonderful benefits and you should chooses cotton clothing over synthetic clothing. I know you must’ve heard me go on about it often enough at the eSquared stores. eSquared ONLY stocks 100% cotton clothing. But are you actually aware of what those wonderful benefits are?

Well, in my opinion the main reason why you should be choosing cotton clothing is because cotton, unlike synthetic material, obviously, is natural and far better for your body’s overall karma. Natural cotton clothing helps your body to remain cool as cotton breaths and aids in air circulation and draws heat away from your skin, absorbing body moisture (sweat) in the process.

But if it’s fact you want then you should be aware of the following:

Coffee Shop Gossip on the Cappuccino Trail

It’s freezing in Cape Town. Hang on, it’s not only freezing, but the wind is HOWLING, and it’s raining and pretty miserable weather all round.

Last night was HAILING! And not just those small little pieces of rain that come down softly but can still cause damage if your Ferrari is parked in the driveway, but this HARD HAIL that came smashing down. Together with the thunder and lightning it was an all round orchestra!

A Symphony of Rain, Hail, Thunder, Lighting, and Wind all rolled into a magnificent OPERA.

Durban Fashion Week 2007 : MTN Young Designer 3

Hi all!!!

I had a really interesting conversation the other day with an old mate in the store, who proclaimed vehemently that South African Fashion is in the dumps and just full of rehashes and copycats.

Nay I say! Nay!

I protesteth (but not too much ;) )

My argument was mainly twofold :

Words are very powerful and full of imputations, so one should be very careful – the nature of reality is very subjective and as such is subject to flux. So be careful what you are seedling. You create your own reality with enough intent.

Rather say that South African Fashion is on the rise because quite frankly it is. We have some absolutely AMAZING designers both established and emerging in the South African Fashion scene.
