WoW! I am PUMPED!
A while ago a young graphic design student : Greg approached me at eSquared Durban with the idea of creating a range of graphic print-centric t-shirts. We get a lot of people approaching us ALL the time (keep it up guys ‘n gals!), but only a handful are motivated and driven enough to come back with a finished product.
Joy of JOYS!!! Greg Darroll produces the goods in a big way and has come with the first items in his new range made EXCLUSIVELY for eSquared.

This is what Greg has to say about Mayday :
“Durban’s little unicorn.
MAYDAY was born in a tiny brain with fine liners EVERYWHERE.
The idea behind the name comes from the graphic style at hand. Artwork that is rather cute but somewhat disturbing all at once.
Images that make an impact.
So Mayday can either be SHOUTED over a loud speaker and cause your friends’ heads to EXPLODE, or it can be calmly whistled as you wander aimlessly through a crowd handing people free cookies.
This is no normal brand - well saying that, I wouldn’t call it a brand at all.
This confused little creation is an outlet for expression. To be able to throw a shirt on, stumble into the world and make that “oh-so-silent’ statement that people will talk about.
Currently studying Graphic Design in Durban, I find exposure to trends is increasingly static. Whoever invented typewriter font deserves to be Amish.
I chose my design route by default really. Fashion seems to be overloaded, and why create something that hardly anyone will wear?
Excuse me? Did someone say tshirt?? Yeah, an awesome way to get a message across… or just ply with people’s minds 
The greatest achievement for me is seeing a cringe on someone’s face turn into a SMILE, and in that moment you can almost witness them realizing how RAD life really is….
