Ok, for those of you who haven’t seen the movie Grandmas Boy, u are missing out big time, granted not all of you will enjoy the constant video game reference and sometimes extreme comedy, but hey if it bothers you, you can always turn it off or burn the DVD….whatever floats your boat. Happy Madison (which is also responsible for flicks like Happy Gilmore and Little Nicky), which is owned by Adam Sandler, are the production company responsible for this “dodgy” yet hilarious movie.
Basically the story is about a video game tester called Alex (Allen Covert), who gets kicked out of his apartment because his room mate has been spending their rent money at a eastern massage parlor….well on hookers…lets not beat around the bush here. He ends up moving into his grandmothers place, along with her two other elderly friends. Their work place is the dream of all computer geeks, a video game heaven where all they do is play games for a living (hard life eh?).
Its pretty much “play” as usual, until a hot girl arrives (linda Cardellini), who’s there to help them finish a video game that they are behind schedule with. She instantly fits in with all the crazy gamer dudes and hangs out with them, much to the disgust of JP, who is the local “genius” game programmer, who is beyond words, f*&%$@d in the head….he believes himself to be part robot and whenever he gets nervous or annoyed, his robot half speaks…..weird beyond belief, he has to be one of the best villains….if u wanna call him that because hes just such a dweeb.
I guess you can call Grandmas Boy a new age Cheech & Chong (they do smoke waaaay too much pot), but with video games. the insanity of this movie sometimes just goes off the scale and you are just forced to question the producers sanity. So if you wanna see a monkey learn taekwondo, a lion escape into a quiet suburbia and half man half cyborg psycho eating sushi, then you have come to the right place. Grandmas Boy…is probably for the partially “cooked” in the head, although life is hard enough being normal.…I think a lil bit of insanity works perfectly 
So rent it from your local video store and then you guys let me know if its just as messed up as I say it is.

Grandma’s boy absolutley ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that I can agree on:)Its HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hey hey, along with Happy Gilmore, haha and Teledaga Nights oh and I saw The Bourne Ultimatum recently and that was bril!
