Tuning Box Tshirt

tuningbox

Allo peeps.

Oh my Goodness!…that about sums up how much I love the tshirt of the day. It’s another new arrival from Quning, we call it Tuning Box. When I say they are selling fast, it’s not even a joke…people are going mad for this super design and I can totally see why.

When I was unpacking the new stock, this tshirt was the first one I set aside to try on for myself. I’m obsessed with funky anime style robots and “chibi” (which means small or young in Japanese) characters, this one isn’t exactly a robot, but the Box style just kicks mega bum. Tuning Box is going to fly out of our stores, without doubt.

So, what is the Tuning Box design all about? Hmmm, well to me it reminds me of being a kid again, chopping up old TV boxes and other cardboard to make a “deep space jump suit”. So Tuning Box for me is very nostalgic. Otherwise it could be a Halloween costume for hobos…hey you gotta use what you have right?

So come now guys & girls, is this Tuning Box design just not the coolest print you’ve seen in eons? I’m totally sold on this tshirt and I cant wait to find a special occasion to wear my one…..ooooh yeah. :D

I’m reading The Times

Anyone else stoked with the Sunday Times guys at the moment? A few months ago they decided to launch a daily newspaper called “the Times” and give it away FREE every day to all subscribers to the Sunday Times.

It’s not indepth Mail & Guardian type articles, but gives an overview of sport, politics, and general news from the day before.

The one thing I like about the Times is that they’re trying to make it integrated with the new media - so they have a blogger every day writing an article on anything (today’s article was on blogger DimitriION’s experience at Vida e caffe at Sandton)

HINT: To get the freshest selection, always ask for your sandwich to be made for you - you might need to wait an extra 3 minutes but it’s worthwhile.

The Times also has a section where they print the best comments from their website blogs…

It isn’t a long read - perfect for catching up while I have my morning coffee (the first cup!)
