I want to encourage people to just be who they are, don’t ever feel like you have to somehow fit in just to be someone. I think this is more and more of a concerning issue everyday…whether you are in school, the workplace, the social scene…it takes place.
People go to extreme measures to try and fit in, change their lifestyles completely and for what…so you can feel like you are someone… Let me tell you…you are someone…each person is made unique and different…just be who you were intended to be…if you accept who you are then you will be a much happier person…because you will be content with yourself and life in general…if certain people can’t accept that…then you know what you don’t need people like that in your life…rather not be the person who tries so hard to please those people who actually don’t really deep down care a damn about you.
Go out and meet people…you will find that you will start encountering people who like you for you…and then that’s when meaningful long lasting friendships are formed.

Your father is my father - your mother is my mother…
All religions around the world are the same - and the only religion is Love… Love… Love..
Factually speaking - all people are in many ways the same - we are all human beings and that which resides in anyone resides in each other. All the elements that make up you make up me but in different concentrations and combinations.
Embarrassment in another’s actions, or judgement thereof is often simply recognition of something within ourselves that we have become insecure due to our environment or upbringing.
“Judge not for ye shall be judged yourself” - and do you know who is judging you then? - YOU! Judging someone is a terrible thing to do because one decides who or what someone or something is - and then that is a reality for them that becomes their new reality - Can you imagine how much suffering this causes for that person who now has to live in that reality? And the more people that believe in that judgement, the more real that reality is. This is especially bad for the one who is judging because these elements are in that person in some way as well - so even the one who is judging is suffering because of their own judgement - especially since judgements are so very final…
But there is nothing and no-one to judge! Sure we are not ONE but many that are one. Yet can you tell me where it is that you start and I begin? At what exact point to I cease to be me, and become the air that surrounds me - So am I even truly separate from the air, the land or you?
“Judge not for ye shall be judged yourself” - and do you know who is judging you then? - YOU! hmmmmm….. To say we are all the same in itself is a big imputation. What is that all about? The same? Does that mean we are one? But to talk of one you need to talk about 0 and 2. - the existence of 1 is a concept that we can only understand because of 0 (the lack of 1) or 2 (that is more than 1) so how can we all be one when 1 and 0 are 2 concepts that in itself require the existence of 3 and so on?
At any rate - since we are at the same time separate and yet part of a whole inseparable from each other - best we treat OURSELVES with compassion and love and caring because - since we are not separate from each other - we are treating everyone else with the same love, Compassion, patience and understanding. Simultaneously, we need to treat those around us (yes - even the ones that are not “your favourite” kind” with the same love, Compassion and understanding because we are actually treating ourselves and creating the environment for ourselves of the same nature.
Try it - next time you order you burger at the local Steers - did you notice that the person behind the counter has a name-tag? Say hello “x” or Good Evening “x” and look them in the eye. SMILE. Be compassionate for the situation that they are in working hard behind the counter for the fact that you are hungry and want food. Order politely. Wish them a good day.
I am willing to bet that not only will your meal most likely arrive faster and in good condition, but that person and you will be way happier in those moments and generally the rest of the day… and that will pass onto the next person that they serve and so on.
It’s not difficult. In fact it’s enjoyable and easy.
But don’t let me TELL YOU ABOUT IT. Find out for yourself and have a pure experience. Not one that someone else has spoken to you about.
So going back to the initial issue… can you see how this concept that we are all “different”, and the one that we are all “the same” are causes for suffering in your life?
hmmmmmm…..
i think its completely natural for everyone to crave acceptance. most people feel that this is only possible if they do change themselves to the point that they “fit in”. but lets face it, the most valuable lessons in life are learnt by goin through this process. so i say go ahead with your little journey of self descovery, because there’s no wrong way of doing this. your gonna find yourself in the end, just dont do drugs, coz drugs arnt cool.
