But this has totally taken the cake in my book. Chicken Joe’s brain feels like a cooked goose.

I love checking out youtube for odd crap, and came across the weirdest (or perhaps stupidest) concept to date. 10/10 for creativity and ingenuity. -10/10 for common sense. Top marks for the surf report though.

Basically “bomb surfing” is an extreme sport where some very bored individuals grab some Dynamite (4 real), light it and chuck it into a river to create a major explosion underwater and – of course – a major wave. Totally tubular.

Meanwhile – just outside of blast radius… their buddy – the extreme Bomb Surfer – waits in anticipation of the wave and surfs the beast.

Oh WOE is the Joe!!!!

The weather is the absolute pits today in Durbs. It’s kinda sunny but ultimately way too windy.

The wind is blowing all the waters flat as a pancake today – so no surfing for this piece of placid poultry.

Today is a day for the blogging it seems : I have been holed up for the last hour or so at the corner of Florida Rd and Innes Rd enjoying my cappuccino at Vida e Caffe and blogging away.

Wait… You don’t know WHO VIDA E are??? Holy Heck buddy – where have u been?

Vida e Caffe is the brainchild of some ex Durban boys who moved over to Cape Town after selling their awesome eatery “Fresh” in Musgrave Rd, next to Musgrave Centre, a few years back. Fresh was THE classic – they brought back the bagel in South Africa – selling the most AWESOME bagels and muffins ever.

So I dive into the shop of eSquaredness ness ness this bright and fantastic morning and place upon the magical DVD thing a disk marked the mighty boosh…yes it be true, I be having a mighty boosh Sunday.

There is nothing better than finding the perfect series to get addicted to…coz lets face it, us being humans, we find ourselves being addicted to random insignificant things. For example… a cancer stick (will not name this object for I don’t want the TOBACCO thugs on my back…not again), tastes like eating a over cooked hash brown that’s been fermenting in onion water for at least a week (not that I’ve ever tasted this), and yet there are thousands of peeps around the world wanting and craving this cancer stick…strange but true

Magic Sunday morning 2 ya all!!!

Today I am staring up a new section that is bound to intrigue as well as delighten some of our Asian culture enthusiasts at eSquared : Big in Japan.

So what’s big in Japan?

EVERYTHING!!!

They don’ just go big in Japan – they go Godzilla – if you have been sleeping in a triangular room under the stairs your whole life and the only stars you have ever seen are either pasted in night-glow on your roof or on a peeling poster of some dodge wizard-type fellar in a purple coat, and don’t know who or what Godzilla is : let me show you sometin :

Yeah – poetry in motion – or gibberish in neutral – Ultraman and Godzilla duke it out in downtown Tokyo here – smashing through buildings as sensibilities.

Godzilla is this classic lizard monster – bigger than 10 dinosaurs in a pyramid – that constantly attacks Earth – starting with Japan. RAAAAAAARRRRRR!!!

Ultraman is a supercool cat (NO. He is NOT a cat! – sheeesh!!!) in a red and silver jumpsuit with bug eyes here to save us all from Godzilla (who comes from outer space fer sure!) and his cronies. Go ULTRAMAN!!!
