Hai hai, Oyasumi minasan.

Japanese prints have always been one of the signatures of eSquared and people come to us if they wanna pick up a funky Japanese design.
When we first opened we had a very specific style of shirts from Ronin that everybody fell in love with. Luckily we were able to get our hands on a few more of these very styling designs.
Check out this firm favourite by Ronin called, Japan Koi.

Japan Koi is one of those designs that is subtle but at the same time intricate. I absolutely love these designs and have many myself.
I really enjoy the printing technique used by Ronin, it really feels like its deep in the fabric and let me tell you the designs stay perfect for eons, I wear mine all the time and mine are still A-ok.
The koi itself is supposed to represent wealth.
It’s interesting to note that Jade is another element known for its fortification of personal wealth, both koi and jade in Chinese sound similar, which may be why koi has become known to promote it.

Let’s hope that if I wear my Japan Koi shirt it will make me a little bit richer LOL.
Money doesn’t make the world go round, but it sure helps.

Have a fantastic weekend everybody…saying this now because I’m sure a few of us will be running around on a well deserved weekend away, enjoy that everybody. (Duncan’s jealous)
Don’t for get to go to Springleap.com to submit your funky designs for the competition.
Oh and also the insane member’s special of 50% off purchases….that’s insane.

Cheers for now.

Jackie Chan Stunts

In the martial arts movie industry there’s very few names that stand out amongst the hundreds of other on screen action fighters. Jackie Chan is one of those names.

I remember first seeing Jackie Chan in Drunken Master way back when as a little kid.
I had never heard of him and had no idea just how huge he was in China and of course to the entire Kung Fu community. I can’t even count the number of flicks I’ve seen him in.
All I know that after more than 100 films he’s still kicking the hell out of bad guys everywhere. Jackie usually plays a chilled out well loved character that is thrown into a mess of a situation against unknown bad dudes and then proceeds to knock the living crud out of them.

One of the best things about Jackie Chan (and one of his most famous tactics) is that he uses everything around himself to his advantage and will turn basically anything into a lethal weapon, or a way to escape his enemies, whether it’s a bucket, rope, ladder, or fire hose.
Perhaps one of Jackie Chan’s best known assets is being able to do most of his own stunts and we aren’t talking “nancy pansy” stunts like other actors. I’m talking about full throttle, high action, death defying MEGA stunts.
Jackie Chan may be more monkey than man, I have suspicions that Jackie is actually a bio engineered Chinese military experiment ;)
