Yo dudes.
So how would you like your very own military exoskeleton for Christmas?
Exo skellie whatzit??
Well for lack of a better definition, it’s a machine that an operator will wear externally in order to amplify their strength, speed, and constitution.
Think Ironman but suckier and hooked up to a plug socket or a really huge kak battery.
Exoskeletons have been around for quite some time and scientists have been trying very hard to perfect the art of an exoskeleton that can be easily used as well as be ergonomically applicable.
The XOS Mechwarrior suit, which is a Raytheon project, is aimed at military purposes, instead of being used like Japanese exoskeletons which are aimed at aiding and helping people.
Trust the Americans to want to integrate this kind of technology into battlefield situations. The test pilot of the XOS was able to lift hundreds of pounds of free weight with unlimited reps (yes like at the gym)….well unlimited until a bolt flies out and the weight falls to the floor ripping the test pilots arm straight off.
Ok ok so terrible test accidents aside, what could the military applications be?
Well they could use them for moving weapons crates, heavy machinery and various supplies from location to location, but that’s still boring.
How about strapping two massive gatling guns strapped to each arm that can level a warehouse in ten seconds flat…”flat” very punny.
That’s the problem with normal humans trying to fire BIG guns, the recoil is way too strong to even stand, if you had XOS mechwarrior suit you could fire these guns without even feeling a twitch.
I’m sure poor militants in Asia are quaking in their boots right now.

Hi there everybody.
Early on Saturday a seriously powerful tropical cyclone called Nargis ripped its way across Myanmar.
With wind speeds in excess of 190km/h it left a trail of destruction as it passed through densely populated areas.
Elders are saying that the destruction left by Nargis is the worst they have seen in their life time.
So far the death toll stands at more than 15 000 people and is rising, because of the layout of places like Yangon it’s been very difficult to get a clear indication of just how many have lost their lives.
30 000 people are missing.

Oh no. I have a problem. I have become obsessed with cults.
As I was flicking through the channels the other night, a programme on Reality TV caught my attention. The title was “Killer cults”. I could not be drawn away from the box, what I was seeing was unbelievable. For me, it is incomprehensible that people can be so stupid. How do you let yourself get into that situation? How do you get so brain washed and where the heck do these crazies come from to start something so unbelievable? Continue reading ‘Cult living’
