Carducci Durban Fashion Week

And now for something slick and smart.

Carducci appeared last night at Durban Fashion Week and really gave a brilliant performance.
The Carducci Summer 2008 style will exemplify the inherent qualities of Carducci and underline the “Carducci Life”…this can be summed up as Day to Night Glamour dressing.
Carducci has actually been around for a long time and has become South Africa’s number 1 suit label.
They can be found in over 300 department stores and boutiques across Sub-Saharan Africa which is a good indication of just how popular they have become.
Quite a feat of fashion if you ask me.

This year’s Durban fashion Week show was nothing short of what was expected by avid suit wearing fans of Carducci: fresh styles infused with creative genius.
Back in 2003 Carducci took advantage of the long awaited “revival of the suit” which resulted in Carducci launching their Young Diffusion Range called C-squared which is centred around using sophisticated European fabrics to create suits that have a natural flamboyance brought about by the marriage of quality fabrics and clean lines.

So where does Carducci actually come from? Well in actual fact the brand was originally called Giouse Carducci who was a flashy Italian poet who was renowned for his “out of the box” thinking and natural energy.
This spirit lived on in the 2008 Summer collection for Durban Fashion Week and really showed what the Carducci spirit is all about.
This unmovable exuberance hasn’t changed a bit in the past 25 years since Carducci started as an upmarket brand of House of Monatic and no doubts this powerhouse will be around for a long time to come.

Carducci absolutely cleaned up last night.
They used local celebs to model their range and the crowd loved it.
    Awesome range
