Painting in the wind

painting in the windGone with the wind…that’s probably the only movie Dave could imagine right now.

To say the wind is pumping through Sea Point today is a gross understatement….its freaking blowing like the Wizard of Oz on PCP.
Unfortunately for Dave, who is trying to make headway with the design outside, it hasn’t been the easiest day out there, painting in the wind aint fun.
If you can imagine him having to fish leaves and dust out of his paint every 5 minutes, whilst muttering swearwords to himself constantly…then you will only touch on how annoying it has been for him today.

Why am I writing about Toastmasters on a blog that is primarily about fashion and design and art and tshirts, and…

Did I say springleap!

But about 2 years ago I joined up with Toastmasters in Cape Town, and it has been such a wonderful experience that I thought I’d take a few minutes (and a little big of web space), and tell you how it has changed my life.

They say public speaking is the number one fear of people - that’s right, the NUMBER ONE FEAR! Bigger than death, bigger than spiders, bigger than all those horrible things that I can think of.
