As most of you who visit the store will know the Rocket Turtle design by Darko is up and looking mega grand…yes indeed. However on my last blog posting about the completed Rocket Turtle one of our fearless leaders Eric, suggested that I should overlay a picture of the shirt with the wall mural design…just so you can see how close it actually looks.When you compare the two it’s amazing to see how close David’s looks to the original design.
As always I’m astounded by David’s ability to translate a design from screen onto a wall at a much greater scale.Now some of you may be saying to yourself, isn’t it easy to copy a design and make it just a tad bigger…well anybody who says that has obviously not tried that kind of feat with winning Springleap designs on a wall that has a surface like the moon…it’s not easy boys and girls.
Also, something else besides scale that David has to deal with is having to slightly tweak designs in order to make them fit properly on the space provided…Bamboozle is a good example of this, but you will see what I mean as the design progresses.I hope that you can get a good idea of the two different mediums used when we compare this killer Darko design.
When Bamboozle is completed I will stick up another compare blog to show you where we have made any drastic changes…if any
