Hi there everybody and may I first and foremost say HAPPY NEWYEARS!!!! 
Yep another year is here and we must force our bodies and minds out of the holiday dream world, shooo let’s just say it’s easier for some of us than others.
Its ok for me because I never really had a proper holiday, it’s our busy season in the store after all…so I gotta be here, that’s the way life goes.
I feel sorry for those people who take big holidays…going back can be pretty taxing and as the old saying goes,” the time you need a holiday most is when you just get back from one” LOL.This being the very first blog of the year requires one very cool thing to be mentioned and that is the announcement of our December 2008 winner Tu with his amazingly inventive design entitled AV Mouse.
AV Mouse is a simple yet brilliant design that has received huge fanfare from all the Springleapers out there.
The design simply takes AV cables and transforms them with well executed twists and turns to create the form of pretty much the most famous mouse ever…that being Mickey mouse of course.
Tu has really outdone himself with AV mouse and really deserves top honours, especially when you see the level of designs that were fighting for top spot in December.
Competition was fierce but AV mouse climbed to the top of the pile outdoing even the likes of TokyoGoGo, Warholbot and the ever impressive DustyRich.What goes through a persons mind when they come up with a design like AV Mouse?
Really Tu pulled this one out of the recesses of his mind from one single concept, which was the line “Video killed the radio star”.
HUH? So like the idea sprung from video star, to video, to video cables….hey why not make a Mickey mouse out of AV cables…LOL.
Anyways I’m just super stoked that he submitted this design to us, it’s simply amazing and I really have to bow down low for Tu and his powers. *high five*.
However, things get even better for Tu who not only won top spot but also had another one of his entries jump into the winning tier with his simply “kung foolicious” design entitled Lock n Loll.
I will do a write up on Lock n Loll in due course, so watch this space for that one.
Before I sign off on this blog let me also send a shout out to TokyoGoGo who had not 1 not 2…but 3 designs in the top tier. WOW thats simply amazing bud, I really love your work…keep leaping 
Well done to all of our winners, I can’t wait to see the level of design that will start coming through for 2009…this is going to be a HUGE year for Springleap.com
