Light, camera…ACTION.
Today is going to be a tad more exciting than normal because we have a whole host of film crew peeps invading the pharmacy right next door for a movie shoot.
I arrived this morning to find a whole bunch of actors sitting outside my store…unlucky for them I had to make them move 
Ok so maybe the movie stars are nobody you or I have ever heard of, but that is only because they are all Egyptian actors making an Arabic movie.
I was speaking to some of the South African film crew and they reckon these guys and girls are like mega stars back in their home country and would be chased after in the street….kinda like an Egyptian Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie hahaha.
At first I was a bit concerned because they are literally camped out right outside our gate, like highly paid squatters.
I thought that people would walk straight past us because of all the movie shoot commotion, but luckily it became a bit of a hub of excitement and people trickled past the cameras and into the store.
Dave and I were also stoked that so many of the film crew from the movie shoot came into the store and bought shirts…they absolutely loved our Springleap.com gear
So what was the movie shoot all about?
Well Tel Aviv truth to tell I’m not exactly sure of the full plot, but the movie is supposedly action packed, they even filmed explosions and car chases in Cape Town central on the weekend….very cool.
The movie is called “Cousins” and will be featured overseas, I’m not sure if it will make it to our shores in anything other than DVD, but hey that doesn’t mean we can’t keep our eyes open for a cool locally shot foreign film…subtitles aren’t so bad 
So yeah, exciting stuff indeed, always cool to watch a movie shoot right on your doorstep.
