Hi there all you Springleapers.
I thought it only prudent to give a big shout out to our latest winner on Springleap.com, who raked up a boat load of support for his simple yet effective design entitled Take down the moon.
Our winning designer, who hails all the way from France, really knows how to take simplicity and turn it into something special.
Congratulation to Trabe!
So what makes Take down the moon so special?
There were many more intricate designs that were in the running to take the win, such as the fun Huggbots or the Pimped Flintstones caddy, but in the end Take down the moon pipped them all to the post.
My first thought would be that Trabes design is extremely clever and different…which automatically sets it apart from the rest, which is not to say the other designs from this competition weren’t…it’s just that this one is extra special 
I have a feeling that this design is going to be very popular with the general public, its smart, has great colour and not too overwhelming a print…which is usually what the non designer, non mega funkers would call, “safe”.
According to Springleap.com, they say that: “This is the T to discover if there really is cheese on the moon!”
Haha nice one guys, indeed this one has a mellow fantasy feel to it….cheese on the moon? Why the heck not hey!
One thing is for certain we are all itching for Trabes next submission…I’m sure the next one will be even better than the first.
Well done Trabes, Take down the moon is really something else.
With that said its time to get voting on the next competition for the month…I have already seen a few with some serious WOW factor….so get leaping my friends.
