I have to say I am NOT a fan of the whole Emo movement.
I’m a pretty up beat guy and am thankful for what I have…theres no way I could try and pull off some “I hate the world and it hates me” personality.
Many of these kids come from well off homes and yet still find a way to complain and be gloomy about life.
Pleeeease, stick these, obviously “misunderstood” kiddies, into a central African refugee camp and then lets see whose gloomy.

Might I just say that you are sadly mistaken. What you have just described is GOTH. True- there are variations as to how the term “emo” is used. Basically an emo listens to a type of music (often post hardcore etc) and dresses up a certain way. We do NOT have to cut or hate the world, get your facts straight before you start trashing that word.
