Hi there all you Springleapers.
Well another competition was rounded up and another new month stretches out in front of us with the promise of hot new designs.
The second winner of the March competition was absolutely awesome and had people screaming for more.
Congrats to Camila, or as we know here better Cmatos, for her impressive victory over a host of other slick designs.
Three cheers for her COOL design Ice Cream Factory.
Cmatos hails all the way from sunny Brazil and flies her country’s flag high with her very impressive work.
It was not long ago that she was in the running to win one of the other Springleap.com competitions with her ultra ‘out there’ design entitled Social Phobia.
While Social Phobia was darker and had more restricted colour, Ice Cream factory was bright, fun and full of life…we at Springleap knew it was a high potential winner before it even popped on the voting board, sometimes you just know when a design is going to cause ripples…Ice Cream factory was indeed one of those designs.
Ice Cream factory has a special level of awesome to it, each of the penguins seems to have its own personality and the chef, who in my mind looks French, suits his role perfectly.
He looks like a no nonsense Ice Cream making master who has to deal with the insanities of his penguin factory staff…this design just smacks of old school cartoon.
Simply brilliant!
Look out for another of Cmatos designs which will be coming out very soon and will be taking a whole new slant from the Ice Cream factory concept.
I know you are gonna just love it.
SO congratulations and salutations to Camila in Brazil, it’s plain to see that we all have a sweet tooth for your work and hope that you will spoil us with more of your unique work very very soon.
