Band T-Shirt

Ramones

Hello all,

Don’t want to sound like a pretentious sod but, why is it at the moment there are sooooo many Ramones fans? And I only make this assumption by the amount of Ramones t-shirts I see being paraded around. You would swear a large majority of our populace love and support the movement of one of the founding fathers of the punk rock scene. I highly doubt this considering the bubblegum pop were subjected to on a permanent basis by the radio and television.

So I’m back where I started, how does an iconic band that stopped making music in 1996, suddenly become such an iconic and cult like followed band? Maybe it’s one of those things, that an artist’s work is more popular when he’s dead? I don’t know? Wonder if record sales would help my argument? J

It’s not a case of Ramones bashing or Ramones fan bashing for that matter, but please some originality when buying a band shirt or any shirt for that matter. If I may suggest or plead, for the loss of a better word, to some of our designers for some more musically themed designs for us music lovers that refuse to buy the run of the mill band shirt out there on principle.

Peace and love,

Alex
