Trends and notorious super stars has become the worlds real deciders for youth and transforms what is! However reaching your full potential is where the revolution begins.
Hi there everybody.
Today I thought I would sing the praises of the revolution that is the t-shirt competition.
For years the medium of funky underground art stayed exactly that, underground.
Fantastic artists from all over the world had to toil like there was no tomorrow in order to get the smallest bit of recognition for their designs.
T-shirt competitions opened an avenue for all types of artists from pretty much any background to get their work seen.
The internet has of course been making the process of discovering new and exciting art that much easier for many years now.
However the internet is a hazardous place, when artists put their work up it is often taken by various unscrupulous parties and used for anything from t-shirts to beach towels…of course the original artist doesn’t see a penny for his/her hard work.
The realm of the online t-shirt competition is a totally different ball game though!
Artists are given the opportunity to have their work seen by the public, who will then vote for them if they like their designs and of course receive monetary prizes if they win.
The difference between winning an art prize in the “real world” and an online t-shirt competition (for example) is the amount of free publicity you receive…your design will be seen the world over and would be a serious feather in your cap when you walk into an interview.
