Hi there all.
When you think of extreme t-shirts what is the first thing that comes to mind?
What constitutes an extreme t-shirt design??
I have to say when I ponder the idea of an extreme t-shirt I instantly think of the good ol Laugh It Off designs that are still floating around even after all this time.
Laugh It Off, as many of you will know, took very well known business logo’s and tweaked them in order to make them funny…or just downright rude.
I’m not sure I can even repeat some of the names that they came up with….this is a family site after all LOL.
One that I must mention is where they took the Black Label beer logo and transformed it into an extreme t-shirt design that said Black Labour, followed by white guilt underneath.
Ouch, that was quite a politically incorrect design if I must say so myself.
So is the idea of an extreme t-shirt made up of mostly “shock factor” material? Not necessarily!
For adrenaline junkies and people out there who enjoy watching grown men throw each other in carefully choreographed dramatics….the word extreme also takes on a whole new meaning.
Extreme t-shirts can most certainly have designs of our favourite extreme sports stars performing death denying stunts of insanity/bravery.
When I mentioned grown men throwing each other around, I was of course talking of the ever popular sports entertainment show, the WWE.
If you search for extreme t-shirts you will find plenty of references to the men and women of professional wrestling, because, well….it’s extreme
So what is your opinion on extreme t-shirts, what instantly springs into your mind when I mention those words?
Better yet, what Springleap.com t-shirts would you consider extreme?
Maybe the rather explicit implications of Spam Goes Old school by DeadHippo….or maybe extreme means lots of colour and outrageous design, perhaps one of Sebell’s uber busy designs like Mix & Match?
One thing’s for certain the phrase extreme t-shirt has very different meanings for all of us.
What is your stance?
Duncs.

Mr price used to have tee’s with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Brett Heart
remember those??
ROFL for sure I remember…I love how these large scale clothiong franchises take a popular iconic figure and MASS PRODUCE.
Dont think I could handle being seen in a wrestling design…I’m not 6 years old
Well I guess thats the way of the world
‘Extreme T-shirts’? The first thing that comes to mind is this uber awesome t-shirt design that was submitted in the high school Pure Imagination ‘Anti-drugs’ bursary competition. Once we upload the submissions you’ll be able to check the design out. In a nutshell, Steven Powell from Boksburg High School created a design of an extreme biker ramping off a mountain and the slogan says “Now that’s HIGH”. Love it!
Lies Duncan, I know your cupboard is packed with Power House Tee’s
GAH gross, how can you even mention the name
hehehe.
