Greetings everyone,
As I’m writing this I feel an impulsive, life changing urge to eat the flesh off your bones. Sorry lost track of where I was. Seeing as I’m in the mood for flesh let me introduce you to my topic for this fabulous Wednesday. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a huge fan of the Zombie culture that seems to float around the world and rears its rotten, hungry head from time to time as well. Although the undead have quite literally been floating around for ages the first written record of a zombie as we know today according to Time magazine was referenced by W.B. Seabrook in The Magic Island (1929). Nothing as gory and explicit as today, but a start to an awesome mythical character that has entertained and fuelled a small but steadily growing culture the world over.
