P.A.S.T. (People Against Suits and Ties) have sent out a plea to the nation’s top creative thinkers, asking them to design the official Casual Day T-shirt in a trendy online design competition.

Every year since 1995 Casual Day has allowed people to dress casually on the first Friday of September aiming to raise funds and increase awareness of disability including blindness, deafness, epilepsy, as well as physical and intellectual disability.
P.A.S.T. are always looking for new members to join their movement, and have teamed up with Springleap.com this year, creating a T-shirt competition with a difference, all in support of persons with disabilities for Casual Day 2009. The competition offers any designer in the online community the opportunity to win a cash prize worth R5000, t-shirts and massive designer exposure and is currently in its voting phase, which means that anyone can log on to www.springleap.com and vote for their favourite T-shirt design.
Voting closes on August 19th, 2009.
Springleap.com has gone a step further by offering all shirts purchased in the week leading up to Casual Day at a huge 22% discount. Simply type in the voucher code “Past09” and you’ll get the shirt for only R150. Each limited edition Springleap t-shirt comes with an official Casual Day sticker and R10 of the purchase gets donated directly to Casual Day.
P.A.S.T., an Absa initiative, is looking forward to seeing which T-shirt will become this years Springleap Casual Day T. Find out on Casual Day, 4 September 2009! Visit Springleap.com to cast your vote.
