Hello everyone.
As I’m sure most of you will know, recently we had the amazing Pure Imagination initiative going in order to find the best unknown SA design talent at high school level.
This competition was a BIG one. Not only would 2 students be given huge exposure into the expansive world of professional design, but they would also each win a 3 year tuition bursary for AAA School of Advertising.
Finally after numerous design entries and tension you cut with a machete we have our winning pair of designer and marketer. I’d like to send out a huge Springleap.com congratulations to Liam Kelly & Amber Myers of Westerford High School.
Their winning design ‘Cock Market: Fowl Play on Wall Street’, was without doubt the most professional and well marketed design of the competition
It really sounds like these two future design/advertising guru’s appreciated their prizes and were even slightly overwhelmed by the whole prize giving…which is totally understandable.
Throughout the competition quite a few people have asked, “Just how good is AAA, is it worth the effort”.
This question really brings a smile to my face, because everyone in the South African design world knows exactly how good AAA School of Advertising really is. Let me sum it up in one simple word…AWESOME.
Not many people get a chance to become part of this top notch school. So Liam and Amber,
prepare for some serious “illumination” on your path to design power.
To all of the students who entered and didn’t make the cut, thank you for entering your designs.
We were really astounded by the level of some of your designs and can see tons of potential out there.
Never give up on your dreams of becoming a world class designer, as I said the potential is there, you just need to harness it properly.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
