Just a few days ago I was busy singing the praises of the new range of Billabong board shorts, which are simply awesome. I then mentioned that I would go across to their man competitor Quiksilver and see what is happening with their range.
Well I have to say I have mixed results on the findings. Quiksilver failed to impress me with their array of different board shorts, however they did impress me with their new “technology”.
Now when I say technology I’m talking about the leaps and bounds that Quiksilver has used in upgrading the fabrics they use and the additions they use to make their board shorts more comfortable.
Unlike Billabong, it seems that Quiksilver has focussed primarily on making baggies for the future, while Billabong tasked themselves with the objective of making stunning looking board shorts.
When I took a look at the men’s range of Quiksilver board shorts available, I actually cringed a little.

It’s time once again to reveal our latest Springleap.com design winner.
This time we have a brilliant artist named April, who we know better as Theinfinityloop.
HiP HiP HooraY for one of the most hilarious t-shirt designs I have seen in ages. April’s winning design entitled ‘Brilliant’, is simply meowlicious.
After our last winner on Springleap.com (Jott with My Friends) I thought it would be very hard for somebody to top his design with raw unique character power.
Well not only do we have a character design as good as My Friends, but it also has brilliant humour that makes even the most sour person smile broadly….like a Cheshire Cat perhaps.
Brilliant is one of those designs that besets you from every facet of imagination. It’s loaded with humour, it is unique, has a fantastic toned down colour palette and mad illustration. This is a design which, while similar to Jott’s design, is so totally different, that it might as well be on a totally different planet.
Sometimes you just get a feeling that a design is going to rock, in the case of Theinfinityloop’sbrilliant Brilliant design, we at Springleap.com just KNEW.
I have no doubt that this design is going to sell like hot cakes in-store and online…well maybe even better than hotcakes, maybe mouse burgers are more appropriate.
