The only thing better than super cool doodles is…super cool doodles for charity. For those of you who have not heard, there is currently an initiative called 1000 Drawings that aims to gather together insanely awesome doodle style art and flog it off during charity exhibition. All the proceeds will go to various charities that truly deserve it.
So how can you as an artist enter? Simple stuff:
1. Draw a funky design of anything with anything, on a humble A5 canvas.
2. Sign and date your art.
3. Smack on your name and cell number.
4. Drop off in an envelope or email it through.
You can submit as many designs as you want. Honestly the more the better. The more drawings the more possibility of the charities making more money, which is great for the people who don’t have the luxury of life that we do.

The 1000 Drawing event in Cape Town will be held on the 5th of November at the Woodstock Industrial Centre in Woodstock. Pull in to 66 Albert Rd at 18h00.
Entry is a paltry R10.
