Hi there everyone!
The sky is falling Chicken Licken…we have an upset…I repeat we have an upset. For those of you who don’t already know, the winner for the Springleap.com Football fever theme competition has come to a close and a winner has been chose. Was it Tu? Was it Dusty? Nay my friends it was a total dark horse that rode out of left field and shot a blazing skop past the defence.
Ladies and germs…I give you Shampoo Warrior, with his colourful African football blast Color Culture!
Well well well, wonders never cease. Look I’m not saying that Color Culture isn’t a good design…on the contrary it’s damn terrific. However I was truly shocked when it came out of nowhere and took the prize right out from under the nose of two of our most well respected Springleap.com veterans….what happened?
The thing is about these competitions, is that you never know who is going to have a wave of support at any one time. I guess it was just Zughdi’s (Shampoo Warrior) time to shine.
We are all really stoked that you came through to win, it’s always great to see a good battle between two designer…and sometimes even better to see an unknown come out of nowhere to win.
One thing’s for sure the Football Fever competition was anything but boring.
Now I really can’t wait to see what your design looks like on our t-shirt canvas Zughdi. The vibrant colours against the natural tone of brown is really going to be eye popping.
As for Tu and DustyRich….shooo, what can I say guys, maybe next time.
