Greetings all you nature lovers out there.
The design cycle has begun again, in this the first design competition for November. The Football Fever competition came to a stunning surprise win from Shampoo Warrior and the votes have begun flying in for The Hard of Rock. I have already listed the designs that I think will do the best in the current compo, but hey, it’s anybody’s guess as to who will walk away the victor.
Submissions will soon be closing for our The Living Dead theme competition. Which means, it’s time to look beyond the scary stuff and find out what the next Springleap.com theme competition will be.
This time it’s all about green living, eco-awareness and a love of nature. Get ready for Enviro Mental!
Yep, it’s quite a jump from the scary Halloween submissions of ghouls and zombies, but I think it’s as good a time as any to tackle the serious topic of environmental living. Everybody knows just how serious things have gotten with our beautiful planet. Industry keeps pumping out poisonous smoke, we keep decimating our forests and draining all the natural resources….heck these days even a decent glass of clean water is hard to come by.
That is why we at Springleap.com thought it was time to get serious and launch a theme competition that would uncover the ugly truths about what is going around us and hopefully educate the masses who just don’t seem to care. Enviro Mental doesn’t have to just be all doom and gloom though.
Indeed, you could make a design that revels in the glory of nature and shows how wonderful things can be if we respect our environment.
It’s up to you on just how exactly you want to tackle the subject. You can be serious and point fingers, or you can take a laid back hippy stance and just draw peeps running through fields of flowers. This theme is pretty broad, so go wild and express your feelings on a subject that is of immediate importance to every man, woman and child on this miraculous blue orb.

The Enviro Mental theme competition is very close to my heart, I hope to see tons of super cool submissions bouncing through in the next few weeks. For all of you who missed out on The Living Dead compo, now is your chance to get involved.
