Up up and AWAY!
Springleap.com soars to new heights with its latest addition to the theme competition.
The Wright Stuff theme competition is about all things aviation. If it’s in the air…then send it in.
While others may say that this design theme is pretty limited…I’d have to say that it’s about as broad as the wings on a 747. This competition is brimming with possibilities.
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No….it’s your grandmother ramping down the staircase on your skateboard….involuntarily of course ![]()
Yep, The Wright Stuff competition can be about anything airborne.
Just because the theme hints at the Wright brothers, who were the first dudes to build an airplane, does not mean that it has to be about them. No sir, we don’t expect each designer to come up with a unique play on the First Brothers of Flight….although if you want to, you most certainly can.
There is an unlimited amount of design ideas that will rock in The Wright Stuff.
I can see space shuttles, Icarus, Tom Cats, hot air balloons, birds….friggin laser guided robo-parrots.
If you can’t think of a decent design idea….shooo, there is just no hope LOL.
When all else fails and you can’t think of anything cool, why not ask the Springleap.com community for their opinion. They are always ready to help
As always here are the dates that you should keep in mind, especially if you wanna submit:
Submissions for designs open: 12 November 2009
Submissions for designs close: 8 December 2009
Voting starts: 10 December 2009
Voting ends: 31 December 2009
Winner is announced: 31 December 2009
In case you forgot, we are still receiving designs for our Enviro Mental theme competition. So, keep bouncing those through. I’ve seen some truly radical designs for that one.
As for voting, well The Living Dead theme competition has also been going full tilt. If you have as yet not gone to vote, please do. There are some truly freakalicious designs for that competition as well.
Keep em coming peeps. Get airborne with this funky new them compo. The Wright Stuff is gonna defy design gravity.
Duncs.
