Top designers
Greetings all.
Today I thought I may bring up the subject of Springleap.com top designers.
First off, I’m talking about designers that frequently submit and have their designs reach winning position. Sure there are lots of amazing designers pulling off wins. But, there are a select few that just can’t seem to stop winning…or at least, having their names in the top 5 of every competition.
Way back when we first started, our very first top designer was good ol’ Quack. Remember him?
He was our very first winner on Springleap.com with his Iscreamonster design. He subsequently entered numerous other designs, which all shot to the top. We sure do miss him around these parts. Submit something soon Mr. Chad Quack.
These days there are a whole new generation of top designers on Springleap.com
Arguably the most prolific design winner is TokyoGoGo from Durban. He won overall probably more competitions that Quack, which is a frightening thing in itself. Designs like El Jumpino Jalapeno and What would Godzilla do?, have made TokyoGoGo a house hold name to many South African design fans.
I have no doubt that this insanely good designer will keep blowing us away with his artistic savvy.
As far as very recent top designers go, Suburbanhijinx is on his way to serious heights. Recently Suburbanhijinx has won 3 compos in a very short space of time. His STAND BY FOR TOTAL PLANETARY DESTRUCTION, Apocalyptic Sunset and our most recent winner from our The Hard of Rock theme compo, STAYIN ALIVE, are all examples of this designer’s true design might. Suburbanhijinx has a fantastic ability to take a theme competition and make it work with his design style beautifully. There seems to be no stopping this American design giant.
The list of top designers on Springleap.com is vast. While I’m throwing out names, I can’t help but mention Cmatos, Cash, Tu and of course DustyRich.
Man o Man there is just so much talent on this site!
I wonder how long these designers will continue to dominate the front running designs?
There seems to always be a new designer coming up from below to try and topple our Springleap.com heroes. But will the young bloods be able to keep as much of a presence as our other top designers. It’s not that easy to stay on top like these guys and girls have…it takes stamina, insight and oodles of talent.
I wanna send a BIG shout out to all of our top designers. Thanks for making this competition that much grander, with your contributions.
