Muhahahah mosh mosh *gibb*
I’m a metal head, yes indeed! I love music that is heavy and charged with lots of power. However, while I love the music, I sometime shave to shake my head at the dark artwork that comes on heavy metal album covers, t-shirts, etc…
I get that it has to be morbid and shocking. I suppose at the end of the end of the day, quite a few of these bands dark artwork symbolizes their own personality…or at least the personality they want their fans to associate with. There are honestly so many different album covers I could pick to show you….but here are my top picks for today from a band called KYLESA.
First up check this absolutely horrendous dark artwork for the band KYLESA. This band has obviously got a screw loose, but just look at the extremely twisted artwork from respected artist Gunsho.
Shooo, somebody seriously needs a hug bru. This is the exact reason why I struggle to find heavy metal band t-shirts to wear. I don’t want to look like some kind of mass-murdered when I walk down the street.
Freaky stuff indeed from KYLESA!
The next design I have chosen is entitled Mind Feeder by artist Tom Denney. The dark artwork of this design is actually really intricate and, in my opinion, awesome. In fact out of all the designs, this is probably the one I would most likely wear. Maybe it comes across as milder to my strange sense of taste…however, I’m sure 90% of people would say the design is mega gross and that I am just as nuts as KYLESA. Maybe so…..nah no way
The last choice I made was a KYLESA design entitled Hellhound. Eish, this is the picture that you should hang outside your front gate to warn people that you have a dog ROFL.
BEWARE HELLHOUND ON PATROL!
This dark artwork design is actually not too bad. Yes it will scare grandma into an early grave….but then again, it’s not a t-shirt design that you would wear to a tea party. You will most certainly get funny looks running around in this design. But hey, it’s no more hardcore than my Springleap.com design 28 Smurfs Later.
Perhaps dark artwork is in the eye of the beholder. Obviously it’s up to your own sense of taste….or the taste of the place you are currently standing hehe. I can’t see any metal heads wearing their Hellhound t-shirt to family Christmas prezzie opening harharhar.
Mosh on and please send me any links to cool dark artwork that you know of.
Duncs.
