If you are a rocker into your alternative, you will probably know exactly where they come from.
This is awesome stuff from the legendary Foo Fighters. This band stands as a symbol of the modern rock movement. The entire rock listening fraternity watches their every move closely, anticipating every new album.
Great news on this front, The Foo Fighters will be back next year with a brand new album….which of course will be good, theres just no doubt haha.
Thats right new Foo Fighters tunes are right around the corner!
For front man Dave Grohl, 2009 seemed to be the year of his alternate band Them Crooked Vultures. Which is a super group comprising of some pretty amazing band members…but thats a blog for another time.
However it seems that it was not only all about the vultures. Let’s not forget that the Foo Fighters put out their first Greatest hits album this year.
so ya, not an entirely un-Foo-Fightery year in 2009.
Luckily there were a few new tracks on the Greatest Hits album to semi-satisfy our hunger for new music.
I have to say I was mildly surprised that there were plans for a new album in 2010, purely because I had heard from somewhere that they had decided to take a long break. Well, I guess that plan went up in smoke…or maybe they said it just to throw us off their new album scent hehe.
Well whatever the reason I don’t care, as long as next year there is new Foo Fighters, thats all that matters.
I’m practically doing cartwheels to get my hands on some of their new stuff. What direction will they take their music in next year….the good ol Foo Fighters sound that we know and love…or a new creature altogether.
Excitement oooooooh yeah!
