As you would have noticed from the winning choice for The Living Dead competition, my instinct on what would possibly be the winning design was once again waaaaay off course.
Curses, dammit, flying %#$@ balls of fury!
So let’s once again enter the fray of design talent and see what my Enviro Mental Top Picks will be.
Before I upset anybody, please understand that I am a fan of CHUCKY’s winning design Got your Back. Let’s just say I was surprised that it pipped Welcome to the Jungle to the finish line. It just goes to show, in the Springleap.com design race. There is never a clear top design.
All I can do is make a few guesses and hey….hope I don’t look like a tool, too often LOL.
So here we go, Duncan’s Enviro Mental Top Picks here we come:
Suburbanhijinx has fast become a mega-designer here on Springleap.com
His winning designs like PLEASE STAND BY FOR TOTAL PLANETARY DESTRUCTION and STAYIN ALIVE, have blown the community away and have us gagging for more of his well delivered style.
As always he did not disappoint. His latest submission entitled GLOBAL WARMING, has all the flair and clever design elements, that we have come to expect from this talented American design guru.
The theme really shines through with GLOBAL WARMING. In the lead up to the Environment summit this month, I feel that this design speaks volumes.
This is without doubt my Enviro Mental Top Pick for the competition.

Next up on the list is a designer that is unknown to me, but who has bombarded us with a huge amount of designs for the Enviro Mental. This one is from Tiaans and it’s called, Boom.
While his other design submissions may be more intricate and widely-popular, I have to say that I think this one is the coolest of the cool. The world is like a grenade ready to explode…nature is the pin….without the pin….we go BOOM!
Simple, easy, very effective!
I look forward to seeing more of Tiaans work in the near future. Hopefully he will submit to The Wright Stuff theme competition as well.
Last up we have a hilarious little design from SmithMachine. I’m sure most of you will know exactly what WWF (The World Wide Fund for Nature) is all about. This funny little design takes this well know symbol of the fight against environmental destruction and turns it into something with a little bit more kick and angst against the system. While this may be a cute design which makes you laugh, it is also pretty serious. WTF stands for what the f*&%…of course I won’t swear here, but you get my point.
It’s as if our beloved panda is totally over what is happening to his world and just has to get raw to make his point heard. Great design, also relatively simple…but mucho effective.
Groovy stuff SmithMachine…I wish you luck!
SO there we have it. We will just have to wait and see if my predictions come true now.
