Time to get artistic and perhaps even covered in paint!
I’m a huge fan of most forms of art. However, I find that there has always been a lack of places that one can go, to express their creativity.
One place that grabbed my attention recently is an art studio, of sorts, that makes the process of exploring art that much more easy. Check out Artjamming: The art of paintertainment.
Artjamming is a place where artist of all levels can come together to express their artistic side.
The first Artjamming studio opened up at Wembley Square in Cape Town a while back and was so insanely popular that another studio opened up Just last month at the Cape Quarter.
So how much will a session of artistic madness set you back? From as little as R95 my friend.
W00T that is actually a really great price. If you think about it, the price is very reasonable. You don’t have to buy canvasses, paints, materials or anything. All you have to do is show up, pay the man and get busy with the brushes.
What I love about Artjamming is that it caters for all types. It doesn’t matter if you are a child or an adept adult. How about setting up a team building paint session for your business? Gather all your colleagues together and splatter away. Join a team and face off against your bosses HAHA. It makes for some seriously colourful fun.
This holiday season Artjamming will also be holding an arts & crafts programme, for the kids.
The special holiday programme will be run between these dates.
Monday 14th December – Friday 18th December.
Monday 21st December – Thursday 24th December.
Doors open at 9am and will close at 12pm.
The event will cost a very reasonable R110 per child, which includes a lekker snack box.
This sounds like such a brilliant family jol. If I had kids I would definitely get them involved in some artistic activities.
