percieved design

Who is that? No WAY!

Every now and then a design comes along that really makes me smile.
While the We Wrock Wright by Dotnot, is really funny and also intricate, it is also funny for a different reason.
The reason has to do with Star Trek!
Don’t laugh just yet…wait till you hear what I have to say :P
This is percieved design.

Ok at first glance we take a squizz at the design. It is really awesome and the illustration is not bad at all.
Next we take a look at the characters, the so called Wright Brothers…all good right?
Then why does the brother on the left look like Captain Picard of the Enterprise.
Aiiieeee is it possible. Did Picard come back from the future to help spur the development of the human race, by posing as a Wright brother? Anything is possible in Star Trek my friend!

Ok ok, so maybe it’s just a funny coincidence, but it’s still a frigging hilarious one.
I absolutely love it when a design has more layers than at first appears. Its all about percieved design my friends.
Depending on your background, likes and dislikes, you may see something completely different. I’ve been watching waaaay too much Big Bang Theory lately, so I’m in a Star Trek mood….sucked in by the tractor beam that is…geek.
Maybe that is why I instantly saw Picard and his mega shiny head.

Wright out of the sky is another example from The Wright Stuff theme competition, which made me think about something totally different.
Take a look at this design. It’s a spitfire plane being chased by what looks like a big cloud hand.
CHUCKY says that this design is supposed to be a representation of what really happened in the Bermuda Triangle...which is famous for planes and ships going down.
For those who don’t read the design info, I suppose on a metaphoric level it could also be the battle between man and nature as he tries to break the very rules of gravity.
Personally it instantly makes me think of the Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser. Remember when they were being chased by the sand storm version of the mummy…this takes his power to a whole new level. Scary stuff hehe

Which differently percieved designs on Springleap.com have you seen, that have come across on a different level than they are supposed to?

Duncs.
