For most the party season is over. It’s time to get back to our normal lives, or start studying our respective courses. How quickly the fun comes and suddenly vanishes into the holiday haze.
But wait…thats not entirely true my friends. The party is still on if you care to look for it.
Prepare yourselves for the upcoming Origin trance party, which is set to give psychedelic trance fans a well needed power-up, before the colder months begin to encroach on our swarmy days of summer. Don’t laugh, for us Capetonians the threat of winter starts with all haste.

There will be two awesome dance floors at the Origin trance party. One Psy-trance dance floor and one for those of you who like a mix of Groovy beats.
The Psy-trance dance floor will feature top international acts from the dudes from NANO in the UK. Prepare yourselves for a psychedelic onslaught from Master Blasters, Pogo and Avalon…..wooooeeeee these guys are gonna give the crowds something serious to stomp about.
The Groovy beats dance floor will have DJ’s from all over. We have Pete Bones from the States, Disco Stu from the English Lands, as well as a whole host of local talent.
Part goers will also be treated to high-end lighting and effects from visual masters The ExtraDimensional Space Agency, Blaize, Goodtimes and Artescape. There will be more top VJ’s to be announced at a later stage…so watch this space people.
As yet the venue has not been announced, but I have to admit in many respects I like this system. For one thing, that means that it limits the amount of dodgy people showing up unannounced. The venue will be finalized and announced via Origin mailing lists, or on the Facebook group page. You can also bounce through an SMS to 34439, just insert the text ‘venue’. See, it’s easy to keep up to speed with the latest intel!
As far as the damage goes, it will cost R190 for pre-sale, R240 at the gate. Online ticket prices are expected to vary….not sure why

It’s so good to know that there are still some big jols to be had. Work shmurk, the party never ends down here in Cape Town.
