Whos your Daddy? T-shirt Design by dotnot at Springleap[dot]com

********Drum roll******** TA-DAH we have a winner folks, step right up, step right…..*VZOOOOM* *plop* *rolllllllll*

Sorry about that peeps, that was the sound of the town crier who just had his head taken off by a Sith Lord.
But seriously now, we finally have a winner for the much anticipated Ye-LOL-ow theme competition.
This one was always going to be a difficult one for everyone to pick. There were so many great and funny designs and so many deserved to win. However in the end, as my good friend Connor MacLeod would say,” there can be only one”.
Congratulations to Dotnot for her force grippingly good design Who’s your daddy? She is our Ye-LOL-ow winner!

First off I have to say that I’m stoked that my bad juju has been broken for the time being. Who’s your daddy? is one of my top picks for the YeLOLow theme competition…and my second fav for the win.
Now now, before anybody says anything, the only reason it’s my second favourite is because I feel the Vader helm is pretty widely used, while El Lobo by Kakolak is rather unique.
Anyways I don’t really care, because as soon as Who’s your daddy? becomes available, I’m getting one.

Alien 5

ALIEN5

Holy S41#, it’s in the vents…it’s in the frigging vents *SCREEEE* AAIIEEEEEEEE!!!!

Good news, freaking amazingly good news actually for all sci-fi fans: Ridley Scott is back to bring us the latest instalment to the Alien franchise…..Alien 5 here we come. Grab your pulse rifle and frag grenades…and don’t forget to keep 1 bullet for yourself, unless you don’t make it out of the hive.

Man oh man, I was paging though the new Previews magazine when I stumbled across the most giddying news. Alien was back and this time it had the original director Ridley Scott at the helm.
Sci-fi fans are all going absolutely crazy over the great news. Over the past 30 years the Alien franchise has grown in leaps and bounds and even produced video games, books, comics and of course the well known spin off Alien vs. Predator. There is something about the Alien design that has struck terror into the hearts of movie watchers since its inception back in 1979 (sheesh, I wasn’t even born yet), I was one of them. Honestly speaking the Alien xenomorph is the very last creature I would ever want to meet in a dark alley…or in this case slime filled corridor with ominous looking pipes and vents, fogged with steam. Craaaap I’m gonna just stop there *pant*.

Alien 5 is said to be written as a prequel to the original Alien movie of 79, which as I’ve already mentioned was directed by Ridley Scott. This poses some very interesting questions about how it will affect the continuity of the original storyline. Many people have asked where the setting will be. Obviously at this point it’s all conjecture, but it could be anything from a revisit to LV-426 (the planetoid where they originally find the alien ship), or perhaps even a trip to the Alien home world. However, I find that latter option frightening unlikely….but not impossible. Fans have been talking about the Alien home world for more than 10 years now LOL.
