W.I.P-The Curse

Qimstudio

Submit, vote, WIN!

That is all there is to it right? Hmmm, well perhaps not my friends.
All our previous misconceptions of how an artist should go about their blog posting have gone out the window. Qimstudio has done a neat little trick to draw attention to his designs and also come up with a much better product, before the competition has even opened.
We stumbled across his tactic on the Springleap.com main site with his blog posting W.I.P-The Curse (work in process-The Curse).

Qimstudio is a designer with a bright future ahead of himself. Not only does he knock together some pretty awesome designs, but he also has a good knack for interacting with the community and making sure his design are as good as possible before entering. This is most evident through such techniques as the W.I.P-The Curse posting.

There are quite a few Springleap.com designers who will post their designs on their Facebook pages or perhaps their own websites. But Qimstudio is perhaps the first I have known to actually host his designs on a Springleap blog BEFORE the competition actually starts.
Not only does he create a buzz for his designs, but he asks for the community’s opinion and receives valuable feedback. This designer is truly making the community work for him in a way that does not feel imposing. Usually when designers host their designs it feels like a desperate cry for votes. However in the case of Qimstudio he has used a technique that gains him knowledge as well as a positive presence on the website.

dangerous t-shirt designs

Hi there friends.

We are what we wear right? Hmmm, well perhaps in some instances.
Personally I feel that it’s rather easy to assume too much depending on what an individual is wearing. In many cases it’s pretty clear as to what a person is like or likes, purely by looking at their t-shirt.
There are often designs out there that when worn make you the object of scorn or even aggression.
That got me to thinking. Do we at Springleap.com have any dangerous t-shirt designs which could possibly land you in hot water??

As far as dangerous t-shirt designs go there are a few that I can single out that have caused a few members of the public to audibly gasp. Now it is not our mission to make designs that have intrinsic shock factor, but rather let designers have a platform to exhibit designs that they themselves think will rock our cosmos. Whether or not the design makes it to print is entirely up to the Springleap.com voting community.
While we don’t mind a bit of “safely brazen” material coming through every now and then, we do not condone overly smutty designs or profane language that would make a coal miner blush.
