Have you heard about the woman who was saved from gunfire from her D-cup breast implants?
Sounds like some kind of character from an anime doesn’t it! Well it would appear that an American woman can tell you that fact is honestly sometimes stranger than fiction.
Protective Implants perhaps the way of the future?
Just another day at the office turned into a living nightmare for Lydia Carranza when her co-workers husband walked in with a semi-automatic rifle and opened fire. He shot his wife’s brother in the stomach and then killed his own wife…after that he let loose and simply opened up on the entire office. Obviously this fellow is properly deranged!
Lydia Carranza was hit in the arm and attempted to play dead, but the gunman walked over to her and shot her again point blank in the chest. Here is the twist though! Her life was saved, experts say, by the D-cup implant operation she had undergone. Basically the force of the bullet was slowed and perhaps even had its trajectory altered by the implant.
Bullet fragments narrowly missed her heart and other vital organs. The doctor who will be reconstructing her breast says that it is highly likely if she did not have the implants that she would be dead.
It’s amazing to think that a breast implant could have so much protective ability. Of course I’m not saying that this is a great excuse for all the ladies out there to go get implants to make them impervious to bullets…indeed it was a fluke that she managed to survive the murderous attack.
If you consider the size of an implant and the force of a semi-automatic rifle, it still seems highly unlikely that this would work a second time. Boys and girls I think this is just a simple case of extreme luck. I don’t think we can go as far as to say that we can consider these things protective implants. I don’t imagine the US military are working on sub-dermal protective implants for their female soldiers any time soon…can you imagine how many ladies would sign up just to get a free pair of D-cups? Chances!
The gunman named Jaime Paredes, is currently being held for murder and premeditated attempted murder. Well, I’m sure he will get what is coming to him very soon….after all in the States they have the death penalty in California right?
But is it enough? After causing so much harm in the world, can simply putting this maniac out of our own misery going to fix anything? I think this monster should work forced manual labour cleaning out septic tanks and grease traps as long as he lives.
My condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in this senseless act!
