Hi there friends.
Today I thought I might give a recap on our current theme competition Advanced Photoshop.
First things first, the competition entries are rolling in nicely, but we want to see even more make their way across to us.
I seriously cannot highlight enough how important this competition is. This is one hellova opportunity for budding artists who want to get their name out there. I suppose you could call the Advanced Photoshop competition a “double whammy” of design exposure. Not only will you get the usual massive exposure on Springleap.com, which is amazing enough as it is, but you will also get a chance to be featured in Advanced Photoshop magazine which is read all over the world. Now that is exposure that you don’t get a chance to grab every day…this is special!
I have checked the backend for the new designs and I already have my favourites.
The closing date for this competition has been extended to the 20th of April. Which means you can still make the deadline…but I wouldn’t be too carless, these submission dates seem to creep up very suddenly…especially when there are 3 or more competitions on the go at once.
If my Advanced Photoshop recap isnt enough info for you why not jump across to the official Springleap.com page.
I mentioned the design do’s and don’ts for the competition when the theme was first announced, but I thought perhaps it would be a good idea just to refresh memories, I’ve noticed one or two designs have been rejected because of infringing on the rules. I don’t want anybody else to have to go through this kinda thing, so here we go:
Design dos:
You may use any style you like
You may be original
You may adhere to Springleap.com design rules and regulations
Design don’ts:
No product shots
No trademarks, for example Adobe, Photoshop and Advanced Photoshop
No nudity or offensive images
See its pretty straight forward…please just be careful of using trademarks on your designs.
The only other don’t I have for you is….well, don’t miss out lol!!!!
Thats my Advanced Photoshop recap finished and klaar…not so painful was it?
D.
