Exclusive Books Childrens Festival

Exclusive Books Childrens Festival

Hi there moms and dads.

So the kids are tearing up the house and are chomping at the bit to get out and do something fun, but, what to do?
Well it seems you are in luck my friends, because Exclusive Books will be holding a series of children’s book events in a nationwide Children’s Festival.
Wow, now this is something that the whole family can get involved in!

I’m a firm advocate of fun events like this, not just because you open your children to a whole new world of exciting stories and mind blowing characters, but also because they get a chance to meet lots of other kiddies and develop their people skills.

There will be a multitude of events across the country, but I will focus on Cape Town events. If you wanna see what other Children’s festival events are up in your neck of the woods, please head across to the Exclusive Books event page.

Ok, unfortunately the Canal Walk event was last week, which means we have 3 more events here in the Cape Town zone. Today (27th march – 10:00) there will be an event at both the V&A Waterfront and Cavendish shopping centres. The V&A will be holding a sing along and reading dedication for the mega popular kids music series called Mafutha the Elephant. This promises to be a great one for the youngsters who will not only get to dance around but also stretch those vocal chords a little hehe. I’m sure you will be taking home considerably less energetic children after this event ;)

Today Exclusive Books Cavendish (11:00) will also be holding an event themed around the super well-loved new Percy Jackson movie. The story of demigod Percy Jackson has really been hitting it big with the kids. Cavendish will be holding what they call “Greek Mythological fun” for the kiddies. This will include a fun Mytholgical quiz among other fun activities. If you enjoyed the movie this one will really be a sure fire winner!

Next week (10 April – 10:00) it will be Bayside Malls turn to host a party which will be all about Fantastic Football. With the upcoming football 2010 this is a great opportunity for your kids to learn all about the football basics and rules so that they can cheer and shout at the refs…just like dad (kidding) ;)
Come and learn the South African Diski Dance, which is our welcome dance for the upcoming football festivities. There are great prizes to be had as well, so you may go home with a lil something special as well.
This will be the perfect outing for little boys who just love the “beautiful game”.

So there you go, the weekend is not lost!

D.
