Voodoo me this

Voodoo me this

Hi there Springleapers.

As I’m sure you are fully aware the latest Open Theme competition voting has gotten underway and we have a serious amount of killer cool designs that are up for a possible win.
I have already posted a blog about my top 3 designs for the month, but I thought that it would be a great idea to mention this late entry, which is simply emo-tastic!
Get ready for Voodoo me this!

Voodoo me this by Cheekychic is absolutely bursting with character power. These days we just don’t seem to get enough of designs like this coming through, which is a pity because they always do fairly well during voting!

This as I mentioned earlier is a late entry. It happens!
Sometimes the gremlins crawl into our system and a design doesn’t end up with the rest of the designs when it should. Wish it didn’t happen, but hey it’s not a perfect world…yet!
So please, if you are reading this and you have already done your voting, please head back to the voting page and give this really cool design a bit of attention and maybe some helpful feedback.

Personally I love this little character because I am a fan of the Love/Hate key rings, which this character hails from. I bought my girlfriend a small redheaded version last year and she loves it…although its head has become her unofficial pin cushion hehehe.

bad children’s toy

bad childrens toys

Greetings one and all.

What exactly would you consider a toy that is inappropriate for children?
Obviously everyone has their own perspective on this matter, but opinions seem to be very wide ranging and dependent on your own social proclivities.
While wandering around the Canal Walk Game store I stumbled across a real gem of a toy that made the hair on my neck stand up and do the salsa.
You want an example of a bad children’s toy? Here it is! *SHIIIING*

Personally I suppose I was raised in a pretty traditional sense in regards to toys. Amongst my bevy of playthings I had army soldiers, cap guns, water pistols, plastic swords and an assortment of other action figures (He-man, Dino Riders…etc).
Many families ban their children from playing with these kinds of toys and rather try and shift their focus to things like Lego, Micro-Machines and Bob the Builder. Which as I’m sure you will agree are a tad on the safer side compared to what I grew up playing with.

The item that I mentioned earlier that freaked me out was a plastic knife. Now I had all sorts of knives, swords, axes…whatever, when I was younger, but you must take a closer look at this sick frigging dagger. Basically it’s a floppy plastic dagger filled with a red blood-like liquid that squishes around the blade beneath a thin transparent plastic layer.
It is an absolutely diabolical looking thing that should shock the hell out of any normal parent. Who in the heck would let their young child play with such a malicious item…the Adams family, that’s who! Bad children’s toy indeed :P
