F-Troupe Buzzsaw

Ahoy friends!

While I am an avid fan of the sneaker, there are often a few shoe styles that grab my attention. One such style that has been around for yonks and which has recently compelled me to buy is the deck shoe (aka: boat shoe). Which I suppose, depending on your standpoint, is either a preppy style, or one for the peeps that like boating. My one close buddy swears by these shoes and loves them for their comfort and versatility. I was never truly sold on deck shoes until I stumbled across the Buzzsaw version deck shoe by F-Troupe. These babies are hot as magma!

The F-Troupe Buzzsaw gets its name from the unique jagged sole, which is very different if you consider the more flat deck shoe style of the past. I have seen two colours thus far, the red and the grey, the latter being my favourite of the two. I think you need to be a special kind of person to pull off the Buzzsaw in the red…I feel as if I wore them I’d knock my heels together and chant, “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home”.

jumpsuits 2010

Jump into a jumpsuit!

Well, the spring 2010 season looks like it will be a revisiting of the good ol’ one piece jumpsuit.
Of course it’s not that I’m surprised, it’s not like this is the first time that the jumpsuit has been in fashion, or on the runways for that matter. However this time around it seems like there has been quite a few changes made and plenty of experimentation.

The spring 2010 jumpsuits will come in many shapes and forms, but the one that in my mind that sticks out the most are the ultra slick tailored types that can not only be used for your daily trudging around, be it office or the mall, but also in a much smarter fashion. Yes indeed the tailored jumpsuits are made to enhance a woman’s figure, not destroy it like many of the older jumpsuit styles. The fabrics will be softer sleeker and be tailored to fit the female form. That means the cuffs and details will be much more detailed and flamboyant (in some cases). Of course the waist line will also be taken in and styled to accentuate the hips.
However, this type of jumpsuit is for the seriously skinny girls only, who will be able to get away with this type of fit. The larger girls will definitely not be “enhanced” by this style in any way. Be warned!!!!

Busted tees

 Greetings

One of my new favourite tee sites from now on has to be bustedtees. With such an awesome selection of political and pop culture inspired tees it‘s impossible not to be.  One that really caught my attention was the one pictured above featuring an 80’s Han Solo jamming on his awesome weapon of choice, entitled guitar solo. The site has been up and running since March 2004 and is run by the same guys that do the infamous site collegehumour.com. I haven’t linked the site because the humour featured is defiantly not pg13.

All designs were done by the guys themselves and the odd friend or two, but they are always interested in what the averages Joe like you and me have to say as well. With a guarantee that all there tees are made in the greater Los Angeles area and no sweat shops labour was solicited in the production they have my vote of awesomeness!! J The guys do a small range of hoodies to, with the same prints that they do for tees as well as some awesome posters that I would most defiantly like to get me fingers on.

Here is a few of the poster's that I enjoyed hope you do too.
