Can you believe it’s 2008 ALREADY?!? 2007 vanished in a flurry of seconds, it seems. 2008 is going to be a CRACKER of a year, for sure! The air is humming with potentiality and positivity. Everyone I have chatted to recently has been so charged with good vibes and a positive outlook for the forthcoming year – WHOOHOO!

Why Tu and Ning of course!!!

No really guys – it’s a cru of 2 based in Thailand. The boy is TU and the gal is Ning.

Tuning focuses on trying to make socially uplifting comments with their tshirt designs or try to make people more aware of their environment and themselves : in short : they promote concepts like self-awareness, mastering the art of observation and and taking better care of our environment.

Retrospect is such a weird deal.

I am the buyer for all the goodies you guys and gals love to grab off our shelves, as most of you know.

When I am fluttering back and forth between overseas and local designers I tend to go on automatic design mode takes over the consciousness – in itself becoming a new consciousness. So often when I land back on planet Durban, I forget all the amazingly cool stuff I chose and saw.

The last few days we have been sorting through the myriad of toys, accessories and tshirts and I am only now realizing how much different and cool stuff I bought – like Electronic Psychotrope Design that Duncan wrote about today – What a super cool tshirt! – but I barely remember even buying it – it’s somewhere in the mainframe….

So every time I travel, I bring back like over 100 styles of tshirts and loads of toys and accessories – so often when we are putting  new stock out on the shelves (like now) I see these gem tshirt designs and wonder where I was when I chose that gem J Ha!

Anyways – so long as we are keeping our friends of eSquared happy – I feel fulfilled.
