We’ve been working so hard to get the word out there about these bursaries that we might have gone a little overboard! Haha, we don’t really think so!

I’m sure that many of you, especially the finance savvy among you, would have heard about the huge global investment bankLehman Brothers going into liquidation on September 14th.
It sent ripples across the financial world causing major unrest and frantic buying/selling in just about every market.
Look I know very little about all this financial stuff, so I’d rather let you check out the full story by clicking here. The New York Times did a good write up about the collapse and the events leading up to it.
My job as always is to look for insane things that have something to do with what most people call “serious stories”.
In this case I have to let you know about a news clip on CNN that has two guys having a full on sultry interlude, right behind the news presenter…it was absolutely hilarious.
The guys were in the middle of one of the biggest financial melt down in ages and they still had the balls to do something as crazy as this on camera.
I’d love to know what was going through their heads when they did this, were they part of one of the groups that made a lot of money in the crash….or maybe they lost everything and thought “to hell with it”.
When you see this clip you are going to freak out.
Cruise on over to The Register to check out this scene….CLICK HERE.
Chopsticks – why o why are they called Chopsticks?
Could it be that they are only used for eating chops? Are they only used by chops? What is their relation to Mutton Chops (the doo – not the chow) and if they are related to Mutton Chops, why was Elvis not a huge addict?
Perhaps it’s named after the musical piece “Chopsticks”!
Well could it be that they came together as a set and one had to “chop” the set of sticks in half? Far more likely a scenario!
As promised, I am going to keep everyone updated on the latest superhero movies that are due to hit the big screen this year.
A much anticipated superhero movie for 2008 (and which is surrounded with much controversy due to a change of director and lead man) is The Incredible Hulk… yep – it’s coming this year!!!
The last Hulk movie was released in 2003 and was produced by the Legendary director Ang Lee. Ang Lee is well known for amazing art-house movies including : Ride with the Devil, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Push Hands, Eat Drink Man Woman, the controversial Brokeback mountain, The Ice Storm, Sense and Sensibility, The Wedding Banquet and more.WOW! What a repertoire!!! And Lee is a total genius. He has a habit of choosing a movie genre and making the quintessential movie to define that genre.
When I heard that Ang Lee was tackling the superhero genre – I was absolutely ecstatic! All I can tell you is that he DEFINITELY delivered the goods. Starring a Eric Bana in the role of Bruce Banner – a mild mannered scientist with a past veiled in suppressed memories and constant nightmares – they pulled off an amazing accomplishment : a superhero movie with an art house feel.
