Might I just say that you are sadly mistaken. What you have just described is GOTH. True- there are variations as to how the term “emo” is used. Basically an emo listens to a type of music (often post hardcore etc) and dresses up a certain way. We do NOT have to cut or hate the world, get your facts straight before you start trashing that word.

Clearly you are one of those people that only see the surface and do not understand the emotional turmoil some of us experience… May you have the wrong end of the stick due to what movies portray…I’m a proud emo.. ok? & i have wonderful emo friends too, oh and as for the dyed hair I believe in natural hair colour (mine just happens to be black) but I’ve never streaked it another colour… About the music… would you listen to a type of music if you couldn’t relate to it? hmmm?

So Stop Judging because I can bet my bottom dollar you’re not perfect either

Hi there Janita,

To be honest the only spot I have seen them for sure is the The Lot in Canal Walk (opposite Exclusive Books).

I think A-store on Kloof had some too…but I’m not 100% sure about that!
